 Story :

Mumaith Khan is a novel writer. She is suspected of killing a boxing champion and the police start investigation. The ACP who is investigating the case is injured and is hospitalized. The police top brass then hand over the case to another police officer Siva Balaji and Sraddha Das.

Siva Balaji meets Mumaith Khan and starts investigating the case. He learns that the boxer was killed using bare hands by breaking the backbone. This is a specialized art and is only possible by someone who is trained in 'Marmakala' an ancient practice in Kerala.

Sraddha Das is head over heels in love with Siva Balaji while he seems to be slowly falling into the trap of Mumaith Khan. Meanwhile the ACP is also murdered. Siva Balaji finally manages to solve the case and the film ends on a happy note with Siva Balaji and Sraddha Das coming together.

Performance:

Mumaith Khan is the lead actor and she hogs the limelight till the entry of Siva Balaji. Mumaith does a fair job and is ok. Siva Balaji does not look like the tough CBCID officer at all. He also is fully dominated by Mumaith Khan in all the scenes. Sraddha Das looks more like a vamp than a police officer. She does a lot of exposing in the film. Krishna Bhagawan and Venu Madhav try to raise some laughter.

The photography is good do some extent and the picturesque locales in Coorg have been captured nicely. Music is average and the story and screenplay offer nothing new.

Target is a film about a girl who is wronged and how her sister takes revenge on the criminals. There is nothing much in the film except for some skin show and the thin attendance in the cinema halls makes the fate of the film quite clearly.
